All,

We are trying to figure out what environment to use for windows application development. I would really appreciate your option on the matter.

Thanks,

( Unfortunately ) the best tool for windows development is Visual Studio. It provides all the tools, along with libraries such as MFC which are very helpful...

Qt could be another option. I prefer Qt for developing windowed applications in C++ because it is portable to different platforms. The Qt Creator IDE has a builtin window designer similar to VS.

If you are going to be doing Windows desktop application development, then you are going to want to use Microsoft Visual Studio. The best option so far!in-room entertainment systems :teach:
