The Quick Reply button although the quote selected thing doesn't work for me. Does it work for you guys? Firefox 1.5...

No, even though I have text selected, it tells me to select text and try again. (also using firefox 1.5)

Works for me, FF 1.0.
If it wasn't for C, we would be using BASI, PASAL and OBOL.

Quote selected does not work for me on FF 1.5

Works here too. (opera 8.51)

EDIT: Quote selection woks too

Quote selected worked before I upgraded to ff 1.5.

Based on what I've found from this thread I've decided it is best to make the "quick reply" the primary reply with all of the functionality of the normal posting page, and have the "quote" button just write the quote into the quick reply, it also gets rid of the need for a "topic review box" at the bottom of the posting page and saves bandwidth.

The cursor attribute doesn't have the "hand" value. It should be "pointer".

I'm getting "emoticon is not defined"...

In light of what I've found from this string I've chosen it is best to make the "brisk answer" the essential answer with the greater part of the usefulness of the ordinary posting page, and have the "quote" catch quite recently compose the quote into the speedy answer, buy a college essay online it additionally disposes of the requirement for a "theme survey box" at the base of the posting page and spares data transmission.
