This is just a poll, I am trying to compile a statistic to make a decision. Thanks.

I put Depends on the circumstances. I will mostly use the quick reply button for anything that is under only about a paragraph long. Anything else I will want to use the "post reply" button. Statisticly I use the quick reply more.

I use the quick reply button when I don't have to use too many tags. If I use tags I will most of the time just hit post reply and simply click on the options instead of typing them.

That's what I do and I assume most others do. Thanks.

Not sure what you mean. Can you ellaborate? Clicking a smiley doesn't write it into the text box? If so, what browser are you using, and do you have Javascript disabled?

So when you click on the smiley face it doesn't write it into the textbox? Have you actually tried clicking on it? I know the cursor won't change when you move your mouse over because they are using onmouseover="this.style.cursor='hand';" which is IE only, instead of the proper "pointer" cursor.

You shall from now on be denoted as

Ofcourse i've clicked on it... It works in the normal reply mode so there's nothing wrong with javascript+FF.

Also it doesn't work in IE, I'm getting a javascript error " expecting an object ..."

That was a poor placement of that image. I asked a question to be sure of something, I didn't state something obvious. Not to mention how old it is.

Safari, I use FF 1.5 and clicking the smilies works for me. :?
Need information on a function I've posted? Chances are it's at the MSDN.

Code: Select all
#include <stdio.h>
char*_="XxTIHRCXCxTIHRXRCxTIHXHRCxTIXIHRCxTXTIHRCxXxTIHRCX";
int main(int l){for(l+=7;l!=putchar(010);++l);if(*(++_))main
(*_!=88?(putchar(*_^073)|putchar(33))&1:0xffff2a8b);}

I always use the Quick Reply box and manually create the tags. Maybe after this poll, I will use the Post Reply button (as a matter of fact, this is what I doing right now :D ).

Actually, I think I prefer to use the Quick Reply box.
