creating an excecutable file for a game (VS2008 C++ project)

Postby Vortexprogramming » Tue Jun 03, 2008 6:13 pm

Hi,

I'm running Microsoft Visual Studio Pro 2008 (C++). I figured out how to release an executable file, however, it will not run unless the computer it is run on has a copy of the VS 2008. Can anyone help me out and tell me what I need to change in order to do this?

Thanks a lot in advance!

(I posted this in beginners, but wasn't sure where it really belongs, as this is for my game. Sorry if I broke any forum rules, just tell me)

Need information on a function I've posted? Chances are it's at the MSDN.
