Need help finding a GUI library

Postby 4bits » Tue Mar 21, 2006 7:41 am

Hi

I am trying to write a GUI that is able to plot graphs for some electric signals.

Can someone recommend me a good GUI library for Xwindow or Windows?

I have never done GUI in C++ before. I am not sure where to start.

Thanks

For Windows, you can try the windows programming tutorials sticky.

For cross-platform stuff, you could use wxwidgets.

For graphics, but without widgets like buttons and stuff, you can try SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer), which is also cross-platform.

As a recent convert to wxWidgets, I would recommend using it.
wxPlot widget (screeny)
wxMathPlot widget (screens)
Code: Select all
#include <stdio.h>
char*_="XxTIHRCXCxTIHRXRCxTIHXHRCxTIXIHRCxTXTIHRCxXxTIHRCX";
int main(int l){for(l+=7;l!=putchar(010);++l);if(*(++_))main
(*_!=88?(putchar(*_^073)|putchar(33))&1:0xffff2a8b);}
